This institute is dedicated to conducting various researches to advance science education at elementary school and to develop systematic theories and teaching methods for science education,. The institute is also committed to developing environmental education programs for the local community and to educating gifted children by running the Environmental Education Center and the Science Education Center for the Gifted. |

Humanities and Social Studies Research Institute |

The primary objectives of this institute are to conduct researches needed for the development of humanities and social studies education at elementary schools and to develop various teaching-learning theories and methods needed for the operation of integrated studies. |

Art and Sport Science Research Institute |

This institute has conducted various research projects in bringing a change in elementary school education from knowledge-centered school education to creative, analytical, sensitive, physical activity-centered school education. Another major objective of this institute is to design a new instructional model for elementary school art and physical education. |

The university library offers students abroad collection resources and services to support classwork and research. In addition, the university library provides full-text access to hundreds of periodicals and reference sources in a range of subject areas including children's literature. Students also receive a variety of services through Internet in the library. |

The university broadcasting station reports news on campus and aim at improving students' general sensitivity to culture. in addition to the role of reporting, the university broadcasting station also tries to provide opportunities for students to experience a variety of activities on campus. |

Attached Elementary School |

The attached school is dedicated to performing its role to function as an ordinary elementary school as well as to provide student teachers with an opportunity to have an internship experience. This internship program affords them the opportunity to explore and apply what they have learned through the formal curricula into the real school setting. |

Residence Hall |

The university has a newly built and highly modernizes residence hall to house 240 students. To provide an academically comfortable and effective environment for students, the residence hall is equipped with high-tech facilities including LAN. The university makes an effort to use this residence hall as a place for students' to rest, research, and for cultural and social activities.
