The major objective of the Ethics Education department is to help student acquire the skills and abilities to effectively teach moral education at elementary schools. To achieve this goal, the curriculum of Ethics Education consists of understanding the elementary school moral education curriculum, development of morality, analysis of textbooks, teaching methods and testing techniques, and introduction to Western & Oriental philosophy. |

The department aims at producing competent Korean language teachers who are well trained in conducting Korean education with the analytical skills and abilities augmented by the understanding of learning theories and textbook analysis. Student of this department study the relationship between humans and language, and the various teaching-learning theories and methods surrounded by human language, education, culture, and language use. |

Social Studies Education |

The department purports to produce competent, qualified teachers who are equipped with the proper skills and abilities required by professionals in social studies education. To acquire practical knowledge in this field, students are provided with many opportunities to learn various learning theories and teaching methods. |

The objective of the Education department's curriculum is on having students develop a theoretical, analytical focus on education in general and the healthy mind by providing them with several courses which are closely related with elementary education, such as education systems and management, the goal and meaning of education, and the contents and methods of education. In short, the curriculum of the Education department primarily considers education of quality as its basis. |

The major goal of education in this department is to train creative, professional elementary science teachers who are well prepared to face the information-science era of the 21st century. Students strive to become competent science teachers by taking many courses in the various labs and by going out for field research to connect theory with practice. |

The music education is designed for students to acquire the whole skills and abilities to teach music at elementary schools. The program includes teaching methods for special concentration areas and curriculum development and evaluation in elementary school music education. |

Fine Art Education |

The department offers programs helping students understand issues and topics current to the field of art education and to acquire the practical skills and abilities required in elementary school art courses. The courses of this department include Korean painting, design, sculpture, ceramics, and calligraphy. |

Physical Education |

Students in the physical education department are required to possess both theory and practice in sports studies to effectively perform physical activities at elementary schools. The development offers programs including teaching techniques in sports, operation of recreational equipment and sports related activities, and concentration in various sports areas. |

English Education |

The programs of English education are designed to provide students with specific knowledge and skills to teach English to Korean students at elementary schools. The curriculum consists of English conversation, English grammar and structure, foreign language teaching methods, cross-cultural communication, games and songs, media and material, and evaluation techniques. |
